The Binghamton women’s tennis team split a pair of America East matches on Friday.
Stony Brook captured the doubles point en route to a 4-2 victory over the Bearcats, who dropped three of the five singles bouts. Later in the day, Binghamton swept Hartford, 4-0.
The Bearcats, 4-1 against America East competition, received their biggest boost from freshman Annie DiMuro. The New Jersey native was the only Bearcat to score two victories in singles play. She also teamed up with junior Katherine Medianik for a doubles victory against Hartford.
Medianik and sophomores Alexis Tashiro and Agatha Ambrozy each secured a singles win on the day.
The America East championship is set to begin on April 25 at UMBC.
