With several key players returning from last year’s squad, the Binghamton softball team has been picked by America East coaches to finish fourth in the conference.

Albany and reigning conference champion Boston University tied atop the preseason poll with 32 points while Stony Brook came in third. Maine, Hartford and UMBC, respectively, rounded out the poll.

Binghamton is set to open its season on Feb. 15 at the Felsberg Memorial Tournament, hosted by Florida International.
