Katherine Hunsberger has not played the final game of her collegiate career just yet.

Though the Binghamton women’s lacrosse team went 2-12 in 2013 and missed the America East tournament, the senior midfielder became the first Bearcat to earn a spot in the IWLCA/Under Armour North-South Senior All-Star Game, which is scheduled for May 26 at Cabrini College. Hunsberger, who set Binghamton’s career and single-season records in draw controls (152 and 76, respectively), will suit up for the North squad.

“I was really surprised when I found out that I was selected, but definitely honored,” Hunsberger said, according to BUBearcats.com. “Its going to be a great experience to get to play with some of our opponents’ best players and players that I have idolized for the past four years. It’s truly a privilege to be given one last chance to play with some of the nation’s top players.”
