The Binghamton University men’s cross country team finished 10th out of 24 teams at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday. Sophomore Jesse Garn led the Bearcats with a 31st-place finish overall. Garn completed the 8,000 meter course in 24:54.
Sophomores Matt Johnson and Collin Frost finished in 64th and 71st place, respectively. Freshman Ethan Hausamann and junior Chris Fernandez followed with respective 82nd-place and 90th-place finishes.
Stony Brook University sophomore Eric Speakman took first in the event with a finish of 23:58, while St. Joseph’s University captured the team title with a total of 46 points.
The men’s team is next scheduled to compete on Oct. 27 at the America East Championships hosted by University of New Hampshire.
