The Binghamton University men’s and women’s cross country teams traveled to Buffalo this past weekend to compete in the NCAA Northeast Regional Meet. The men placed 22nd out of 33 teams, while the women placed 22nd out of 36 teams.
Highlighting the men’s performance was freshman Cal Michaels, who finished the 10,000-meter course in 85th with a time of 33:22. Leonard Korir of Iona College came in first out of the 240 runners who participated in the event on Saturday afternoon.
On the women’s side, junior Lindsay Raulli crossed the finish line first for the Bearcats for the second year in a row. She placed 103rd overall with a time of 23:04.1.
Binghamton will travel to Van Cortlandt Park next Saturday to conclude its season at the ECAC/IC4A Championships.
