Min Park, a 20-year-old junior, has been charged with assault in the first degree following a family dispute in Susquehanna Community’s Choconut Hall on Sunday afternoon, according to Binghamton University spokesperson Ryan Yarosh.

According to the University, Park allegedly stabbed his father multiple times in the head and face during an argument. Park’s mother and sister were also injured while attempting to break up the fight.

Park’s father, mother and sister were all transported to Wilson Medical Center. His father was admitted to the intensive care unit following emergency surgery for his wounds.

Park was taken into custody by Binghamton’s New York State University Police, arraigned in Vestal Town Court and remanded to Broome County Jail without bail.
