Deanna Caiati is a Democratic candidate for the Town of Union Council. Caiati is a teacher in the Binghamton City School District (BCSD) and resident of the town of Union. Some programs Caiati has supported include the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy Financing (C-PACE) program in Broome County — an initiative intended to make clean energy upgrades more feasible for nonprofit and commercial properties —, Truth Pharm and its work in fighting the heroine epidemic in Broome County as well as initiatives to expand after school programs.
