Incumbent legislator Susan Ryan, ‘89, is the Democratic candidate for Broome County’s 11th district in the Broome County Legislature. She was elected in 2018 and has over 25 years of experience in public service. She is an adjunct faculty member in the environmental studies department and an evolutionary studies program coordinator (EvoS) at Binghamton University. Ryan earned her bachelor’s degree in geology and environmental science from BU.
