Incumbent legislator Jason Shaw, ‘95, is the Republican candidate for Broome County’s 8th district in the Broome County Legislature. First elected in 2014, Shaw has served as chairman of the Personnel Committee and currently serves as chair of the Health & Human Services Committee. Shaw earned his bachelor’s degrees in computer science and economics from Binghamton University. He earned his master’s degree in information design & theory from the SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
