J. Michael’s:

If you are looking for a meal that doesn’t cost you a week’s paycheck but still has excellent food, check out J. Michael’s Authentic Italian Restaurant and Lounge. It is located on 59 Court St., but you could easily pass right by it if you aren’t looking for the sign. It is in an old building basement, which adds to its private atmosphere. The dim lighting and stucco walls are great for a romantic dinner for two. J. Michael’s offers gourmet grilled pizza, pasta dinners and more. Grande:

For a more relaxed atmosphere and good pizza, visit Grande Pizzeria Italian Restaurant, on 1250 Upper Front St. The prices are much more affordable, and the variety of food is broad. It is also known for its fantastic pizza and salad bar. Every Sunday through Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., there is an all-you-can-eat pizza and salad bar buffet for the reasonable price of $7.99.
