This weekend Boston’s Agannis Arena will be overcome by a severe case of March Madness. After two months and 16 conference games, the bracket is finally set and everyone from the highest Catamount to the lowest Seawolf will be on hand.

Binghamton’s draw is a mixed bag. With the six seed, the Bearcats avoid the top two teams, Vermont and Albany, but instead they take on the host Boston Terriers, Saturday at 8:30 p.m.

The third-seeded Terriers beat the Bearcats twice this year, handing them their worst conference loss of the season, a 12-point drubbing at Boston’s Case Gym, best remembered as ‘The Boston Three Party,’ when Terrier freshman Carlos Strong had a career-high 30 points and was 8-for-10 from downtown.

The Terriers beat the Bearcats by 12 on Jan. 11 at the Events Center too, holding BU to 33 percent shooting.

Should Binghamton advance they would take on the winner of the Albany/New Hampshire semifinal match on Sunday.

No. 8 Hartford meets No. 9 Stony Brook in the Friday night play-in game, with the winner meeting No. 1 Vermont on Saturday at noon. No. 5 UMBC takes on No. 4 Maine at 2:30 p.m.
