The Binghamton athletic department has decided to pick up the tab for students at Wednesday’s America East men’s soccer semifinals match at the Bearcats Sports Complex.

The schools announced Tuesday that they were providing the free tickets as a thanks to the students. In order to receive the complimentary tickets, students must show their Binghamton ID at the Events Center box office.

Had the school not picked up the tab, Binghamton students would have had to pay $2 for access to the event.

The America East has set prices for the game at $8 for adults, $2 for children under 12 and $2 for any student from one of the nine America East schools.

Free parking for the game will be located in Lots F, F1, F2, F3, H and G.

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance and arrive early in order to avoid delays.

Tickets for the America East soccer semifinals can be purchased at the Events Center Box Office, (607) 777-6004. They can also be purchased in advance through the Binghamton Athletic Web site, bubearcats.com.

Game time is scheduled for 2 p.m. Binghamton will face the winner of Saturday’s quarterfinal match between Hartford and UMBC. The Bearcats are the defending America East tournament champions.
