Hillel, co-sponsors of the event, will show four screenings of “Hotel Rwanda” on Friday, Oct. 7, in the Mandela Room and Saturday, Oct. 8, in the Susquehanna Room at 9 and 11:30 p.m. each night. Rusesabagina will give his speech, “Hotel Rwanda: A Lesson Yet To Be Learned,” at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12, in the Events Center. Advanced tickets for Rusesabagina’s speech are free with student ID and are available at the box office in the Old University Union, or at the Events Center. Tickets will also be sold at the door the night of the event. All proceeds will go to the Hotel Rwanda Rusesabagina Foundation, which provides debt relief for African nations and advocates for increased intervention from international communities anywhere that genocide is occurring.
