MSNBC reported that the rabbit has been “eating everything, all the vegetables,” in this local community. Some townspeople have hired armed guards to protect their vegetables, but their efforts have failed. Attempts to shoot the beast have been unsuccessful as “it is very clever.”

In the town of Nome, Alaska, the restaurant Airport Pizza and the Frontier Flying Service, a small air carrier, have teamed up to deliver pizza to towns as far away as 500 miles from Nome. Although the delivery is considered free, the pizzas are rather expensive because of the cost of shipping in most of the necessary ingredients. However, according to CNN, Airport Pizza does offer one locally produced topping, Reindeer Sausage.

The Baltimore Examiner reported Monday that James Ralph Snyder, 36, and Mary Jo Elizabeth Jensen, 33, of Waterloo, Iowa, fabricated an obituary for their son in order to get time off from work. The death notice was run in the the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier, but the next day their son was seen eating at a local restaurant, and the jig was up.
