Sleepers
Maurice Jones-Drew, RB, Jacksonville (vs. Tennessee): The Titans were horrible against the run last season, giving up nearly 145 yards per game. That coupled with Jones-Drew coming into the season with an eight-game scoring streak should mean smooth running for your fantasy team.
Santonio Holmes, WR, Pittsburgh (vs. Cleveland): He gets a good match-up this week. The Steelers have a great rushing attack that will open up the pass for quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. The Browns have a shaky quarterback situation, which will keep the defense on the field longer, and in turn, more fatigued. It’s a match made in heaven.
Stumblers
Atlanta RBs (vs. Minnesota): It’s last year’s No. 1 offensive rushing team vs. last year’s No. 1 defensive rushing team. Problem is that without Michael Vick and his 1,039 yards rushing, the Falcons running game and season have gone to the ‘ oh, it’s just too easy.
J.P. Losman (vs. Denver): With the Broncos sporting the best starting cornerback tandem in the NFL in Champ Bailey and Dr√É© Bly, as well as Pro Bowl safety John Lynch, Buffalo will place most of the workload on the ground with rookie RB Marshawn Lynch, a sleeper himself.
