3) Binghamton (16-8, 9-3): The Bearcats overcame the Great Danes yesterday, 88-75. Binghamton also overtook Stony Brook in an overtime thriller Saturday, 63-61. Junior Emanuel Mayben was named America East Player of the Week after scoring 31 points in the game over Vermont and putting in the game-winning basket in an overtime victory against the Seawolves.
4) Albany (13-11, 5-6): The Great Danes are riding on a three-game losing streak after suffering a loss to the Bearcats yesterday and dropping a game against the Catamounts Saturday. They play Stony Brook on Thursday.
5) Stony Brook (13-11, 5-6): The Seawolves lost in an overtime game against the Bearcats on Saturday, 63-61. They host the Great Danes at Pritchard Gymnasium on Thursday.
6) New Hampshire (9-13, 4-6): The Wildcats could not muster up to the Terriers on Saturday, as they dropped the game, 67-49. The loss came after defeating Hartford, 62-55, on Wednesday. UNH takes on UMBC tonight.
7) UMBC (10-13, 4-7): The Retrievers broke their two-game losing streak after defeating Maine, 61-59, on Saturday. Darryl Proctor highlighted the win with a game-high 26 points. UMBC makes the trip to New Hampshire to play the Wildcats tonight.
8) Maine (3-8, 8-16): Troubles continue for the Black Bears, losing to UMBC, 61-59, on Saturday. The loss marks a five-game losing streak for Maine. The team also lost to Stony Brook, 70-59, last Tuesday. The Bears host Hartford on Wednesday.
9) Hartford (2-9. 6-19): The Hawks have the basketball blues, falling to Vermont, 71-63, yesterday and to New Hampshire, 55-62, on Wednesday. They currently run on a six-game conference losing streak and are poised to take on Maine on Wednesday.
