Binghamton University students will get their first chance to meet and greet new men’s basketball coach Kevin Broadus on Monday night.

The BU Zoo has organized a ‘Meet the Coach Night’ to be held in Lecture Hall 2 at 8 p.m. Students can come and ask questions, and the event will last as long as the questions do.

‘He wants to meet the students ‘ he said they’re really important to him,’ BU Zoo president Or Raitses said.

Broadus was named as successor to Al Walker last month. He has previously worked as an assistant coach at Georgetown, helping the Hoyas reach the Final Four this season.

Raitses said anyone who is interested in our new coach is encouraged to attend the event.

‘We want to get as many people out there as possible,’ he said.
