Lock: Arizona (-3) over Oakland

It’s tough to take a rookie quarterback on the road as a lock, especially after what happened to Arizona on Monday night, but this is ridiculous. Oakland is one of the worst teams ever; I wouldn’t be surprised if coach Art Shell tried playing Shane Falco as quarterback this year. Matt Leinart will finally win his first game, and afterwards, Nick Lachey and he will party like it’s 1999.

Upset Special: Atlanta (+2 1/2) over Pittsburgh

Maybe the Steelers turned a corner with last week’s thrashing of KC, but Big Ben has still not earned back my trust, and the Falcons defense will be looking for revenge after last week’s collapse vs. the Eli Manning Show.

Game 1: Indianapolis (9 1/2) over Washington

What a train wreck Washington has become. The Colts have played some close ones this season, but my money’s on Peyton building up a 30-point lead before leaving to film another commercial in the fourth quarter.

Game 2: Seattle (-7) over Minnesota

Seattle has struggled at times, but not at home. Qwest Field is impossible for road teams to win at. Even the recent addition of Drew Henson to the Vikings practice squad won’t be enough to beat the Seahawks.
