“Andrea’s Voice” A production about eating awareness
Binghamton University’s Eating Awareness Committee will present “Andrea’s Voice,” a production by Doris and Tom Smeltzer, whose daughter died after a year-long struggle with bulimia. The program, which is free and open to the public, will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24, in Old University Union Hall on the University campus. Amazon Adventure at Binghamton University
A multimedia adventure titled “Perspectives: Expedition Amazon” is coming to Binghamton University from March 7-11. This expedition will transport visitors deep into the rainforest through a sight and sound. The presentation will feature artwork, film and performance. Vow to Take Fight Over SUNY Funding to Albany
Students and professors from SUNY Binghamton, Cortland, New Paltz and Tompkins-Cortland Community College will meet in Binghamton this Thursday to announce the kick off of an 11-city tour, which will move through Central, Upstate, Western, Capitol and Downstate New York before culminating in Albany on March 30. The students have vowed to take the fight over this year’s SUNY budget, which forces SUNY to raise its tuition by $500, to Albany.
