Who can hate on Kobe Bryant right now? Scoring at least 50 points in back-to-back-to-back-to-back games ‘ that’s four ‘ in a recent run is gaining him recognition all around the league as one of the best scorers the NBA has ever seen, contesting with the likes of Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan. But for some reason people still hate on Kobe. Maybe it is his attitude, his beef with Shaq or his rough past and trouble with the law that make people doubt him so much. Nobody would have thought a skinny 18-year-old high school guard from Philly could ever make the noise that he is making now. For all you doubters, I have some information for you: Kobe’s scoring average sits pretty at 31 right now, with a career average of 24.5. However, that is including his first three developmental seasons in the league, seasons that he probably should have been in college for. Keep in mind that he has the rings, the range and, most importantly, the ability to throw his team on his back and come out with a win. Snapping his 50-point streak with a measly 43 points (that’s sarcasm by the way), he did what he needed to ensure the Lakers a fifth consecutive win. That is what puts him in my top five greatest players of all time. So when the Knicks fall out of the playoffs again (let’s all keep our fingers crossed for them), you know what I will be watching ‘ Kobe Bryant making history. Check it out.
