Lock:
NY GIANTS over Seattle (-7): Despite some setbacks on the offensive side (bring back Plaxico!), Big Blue seems to have everything on lockdown along with the second-best defensive squad in the NFL. Let’s forget for a second about that curse with the Seahawks losing every time they play out on the East Coast. The Seahawks offensive play is no match for the Giants defense.
New England over SAN FRANCISCO (-3): The Pats will have to stop linebacker Patrick Willis if they intend on overcoming the 49ers. Still without Brady, New England is doing all right for themselves. It’s all a matter of getting the ball to Randy Moss. Where this game is concerned, the Pats will have to hold a strong defense and keep SF at bay.
Tampa Bay over DENVER (NL): I’m gonna go with coach Shanahan on this one and say that the Broncos’ offense really needs to step up. Four turnovers in the game against Kansas City? There is no excuse for that! Their defensive play is what has everyone talking and now since that was exposed in the last game, the Bucs, I think, have an advantage. TB has met their challenges head-on and they’ve played remarkably well against Green Bay and Chicago so they can get this.
Indianapolis over HOUSTON (–3): OK, so the Colts are having a down season, but Houston has had it worse. To put it short, the Colts have the better players and it will definitely show in the game and extend the Texans’ losing streak to four.
