Lock:
DENVER (-3.5) over Miami: So the Dolphins have looked pretty good these last few weeks. Who would have thought they would knock off the Bills? Certainly not me, as I picked against them last week. I’ll admit it. I’ve dumped on them a couple of times this season, and rightfully so, because let’s face it, people, they’ve sucked for a while now. This week, however, they’re going to run out of gas, and that bodes very well for Jay Cutler and company.
Baltimore (+1.5) over CLEVELAND: The Ravens have never been known as an offensive juggernaut, and this season is no different. For years now, the name of the game for Baltimore has been defense, and that’s how things remain. The Haastile Bottom Line of the Week: Cleveland has done nothing to thrill me this season, and I don’t see that changing this Sunday.
Arizona (-3) over ST. LOUIS: My main question here is this: Where the hell did the Rams come from? Fine, they lost to New England last week, but before that they knocked off Washington and Dallas, teams with a combined record of 11-5. Arizona is another team that has come out of nowhere, currently leading the league in points scored per game (28.6). Sorry for the pun, but the Cardinals will fly away with this one.
Green Bay (+5.5) over TENNESSEE: I have been begging for weeks for somebody to breathe Titans. Much to my dismay, it hasn’t happened yet. I’m willing to admit at this point that they’re good, all right? Now they can appease me and freaking lose a game. Thank you.
