Philippine American League cultural show

The Philippine American League is having its annual cultural event Saturday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the East Gym. It has been awarded the XCELSIOR award for best cultural show for the past two years.

Binghamton University Speech Team advances to national contestÃ.ö

The Binghamton University Speech Team proved victorious at the 59th Annual New York State Forensics Championship and then advanced to compete in the American Forensic Association National Championship, which ended April 3rd. Results were unavailable at press time.

Bank Robbery

The HSBC bank located at the intersection of Court and State Streets in downtown Binghamton was robbed early Friday evening, March 31. The suspect fled with an unknown amount of money.

Fundraiser for BU employee

Hundreds of Binghamton residents gathered at American Legion Post 80 on Sunday to raise money for fellow community member and BU Physical Facilities employee Chris Klimuszka in his time of need. Klimuszka has not been able to work for over a year, since his he was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. The donations totalled about $25,000.
