The city of Binghamton has launched its second restaurant week, showcasing over a dozen local eateries.
Alex Weiser, one of the event’s organizers and a recent Binghamton University graduate, said that the success of the first event last spring left restaurant owners wanting more. In the past year, the number of participating restaurants has nearly doubled from seven to 13.
‘The idea is to keep building so all the restaurants in Binghamton are involved in restaurant week,’ Weiser explained.
Like the New York City version, each restaurant is offering popular dishes at discounted prices ‘ a three-course lunch will cost you $8 while a three-course dinner is $20.
