FRIDAY, April 25, 2:20 p.m. — A 19-year-old male student reported that a 21-year-old male student approached him in the hallway in College-in-the-Woods’s Oneida Hall demanding entry into the room, said Investigator Dennis P. Bush of Binghamton’s New York State University Police. The 21-year-old wanted to take some property from the 19-year-old’s roommate.

The 21-year-old had said the roommate owed him money from “illegal activity.” After the resident didn’t allow him into the room, saying his roommate was out of town, the 21-year-old threatened to hurt the resident.

Police made no arrests, but will conduct more interviews about the incident.

The car left the lot by driving through the closed exit gate and snapping the wooden arm. Officers responded and took photographs. Police had video footage of the car, but couldn’t see the license plate.
