FRIDAY, Oct. 1, 9:54 p.m. ‘ Officers responded to a report of a 21-year-old female student verbally harassing and repeatedly shoving a 20-year-old male student in the West Gym parking lot F1 during the Drake concert, said Investigator Dennis P. Bush of Binghamton’s New York State University Police. Officers arrived as the confrontation was going on and ordered the female suspect to stay away from the male. The female was initially crying and had difficulty responding to officers upon being questioned, but she was able to reply after calming down. She stated that she had witnessed her boyfriend walk out of the Drake concert, and after she followed him into the parking lot, he proceeded to break up with her. She admitted to having shoved him repeatedly. The male victim was uncooperative and stated that he simply wanted to be left alone. The female was escorted back into the Drake concert while the male was escorted to the Old University Union bus stop to be sent home, off campus, in a taxi. No further action was taken.
SATURDAY, Oct. 2, 12:10 a.m. ‘ An unknown suspect, with two others present, reportedly knocked on the door of a 19-year-old male student in Mountainview College’s Windham Hall before proceeding to punch him in the face several times, Bush said. The victim’s suitemate came out of his room upon hearing the commotion and stopped the attack, while a female witness came out of another suite to tell the suspects to leave. Upon hearing this, the suspect told the female to ‘get the fuck out of my face,’ but then proceeded to leave the premises and was not there when the police arrived. While the officers were speaking with the resident director, a female friend emerged from another suite and explained to police that the suspects were friends of hers who were there to see the Drake concert and they had attacked the victim because he had said something to a female friend that they did not approve of. The female stated that they were already on their way out of Binghamton, and police advised her that the suspects were not welcome back and that if they did come back, action would be taken. The victim was advised that he would need to speak to police while not intoxicated if he wished for further action to be taken, but he stated that he did not wish for any action to be taken.
SATURDAY, Oct. 2, 11:22 p.m. ‘ Passing patrol found a 19-year-old male suspect urinating on the west wall of the Dickinson Dining Hall, Bush said. He became aware of police presence and tried to walk away. Police then proceeded to call out to him, and although he did not respond to the first call he did respond to the second and spoke to police. He denied having urinated on the wall. While the officer was preparing his appearance ticket, the suspect began to speak about what he was doing. The officer quickly advised him to stop talking about it or else he would have to be read his Miranda rights. The suspect then stated that he wanted to be read his Miranda rights. The officer did so while the suspect exercised his right to remain silent. He was then issued an appearance ticket.

The obscene material was removed, and a work order was called in to clean the rest. Police have no suspects or witnesses.
