Sandra Dube, the Student Association’s vice president for University Programming, announced Thursday that her office’s first concert of the year has been planned for Dec. 7, and will headline emo bands Brand New and Dashboard Confessional.

Although Dube said there is no word yet on ticket prices or the starting time, the concert will take place at Binghamton University’s Events Center.

Brand New has performed at BU before: the band took the stage at Spring Fling in 2004 (a free show) and drew a crowd of about 2,000.

Dashboard Confessional headlined with Reel Big Fish in Ithaca in October of the same year.
