The Binghamton University golf team wrapped up its fall season this past week, posting a fourth-place finish out of 16 teams at the F&M Bank Intercollegiate hosted by Austin Peay State University.
BU’s 54-hole total of 859, good for 5-under par, is the best three-round effort in the program’s history.
Host Austin Peay won the event with a 54-hole total of 839.
Binghamton sophomore Bryce Edmister finished tied for 10th place with a three-round total of 212. Edmister opened the event with a five-under 67, then fired a 72 and 73 in his next two rounds.
The Bearcats will have a five-month break before the team’s spring season kicks off in late March. The next scheduled event for BU is the George Washington Intercollegiate in Bethany Beach, Del.
