Congratulations, Jared Lorenzen, for throwing your first NFL pass Sunday night. It’s a nice departure from the Hefty Lefty’s typical day of helping Jeremy Shockey shove Eli into lockers, eating Eli’s breakfast and stealing his lunch money.
Lorenzen also apparently went home and celebrated by eating Tom Brady’s newborn baby. The celebration might have been a little uncalled for considering LaDainian Tomlinson threw more TD passes than Lorenzen did Sunday.
And how awkward was it when the announcers kept asking Tiki Barber if he was coming back to the Giants? Guys, you have a better chance of seeing Michael Vick starring in ‘Homeward Bound 3’ than seeing Tiki in a Giants uniform again.
And while Vick’s old team, the Falcons, got trounced, things look a little better for the beleaguered QB who plans to use the infamous ‘All Dogs Go To Heaven’ defense at his upcoming trial.
The Falcons do have some hope, though. They are apparently involved in talks to bring Rick Ankiel in as an offensive lineman, provided he promises to go back on HGH.
