FRIDAY, OCT. 13, 9 p.m. — Binghamton’s New York State University Police responded to a call from a woman who said that somebody had knocked off the passenger-side rear-view mirror of her 1996 Saturn SL. There were no witnesses, said Investigator Dennis Bush; police have no suspects.

SUNDAY, OCT. 15, 3:30 a.m. — University Police stopped an 18-year-old intoxicated woman at the University Union bus stop. She said she had been drinking Downtown, but wouldn’t say where. Harpur’s Ferry campus ambulance service responded and brought her to Binghamton General Hospital.

SUNDAY, OCT. 15, 4:49 a.m. — Officers witnessed an 18-year-old woman near Bingham Hall apparently stumbling, held up by a male companion; she had been drinking Downtown, but police wouldn’t say where. Harpur’s Ferry was contacted, and the woman was brought to Lourdes Hospital. No charges were filed.

SUNDAY, OCT. 15, 11 p.m. — Police responded to the Fine Arts building on a call alleging that three feminine-hygiene product vending machines had been broken into. The amount stolen from each machine, located in various ladies’ rooms throughout the building, were $4.50, $8.50 and $3, respectively — all in quarters. None of the merchandise was stolen. Police have no suspects.
