Milos Klimovic:

Klimovic is a JUCO transfer forward who originally committed to Conference USA’s Houston and was recruited by Big East schools. The latest Bearcat import from Eastern Europe, he is a big-time 3-point shooter who can hit from NBA distance. Klimovic is a gunner who will likely have the green light to shoot from anywhere in the half-court. He could start from day one. NBA Comparison: Peja Stojakovic

Stat: 23

Klimovic was one Bearcat who came up big in Monday night’s opener against St. Bonaventure, scoring a team-high 23 points, while shooting 6-for-12 from beyond the arc. If the team is going to continue to live and die by the 3-pointer like they did in the first game, look for Klimovic to be the team’s leading scorer easily.

Reggie Fuller:

Known for his athleticism, versatility and defense, Fuller will bring energy whenever he plays. A junior college transfer from Texas, Fuller will be a fan favorite with his ability to throw down a big dunk in transition. He can also play several positions and guard the best forward on the opposing team. NBA Comparison: Renaldo Balkman

Stat: 55

Fuller shot 55 percent from the floor last season at Angelina College, the best on a team that won 26 games and advanced to the regional finals. He continued his efficient shooting in his first game at Binghamton University, shooting 75 percent.

Moussa Camara:

Camara, a native of France, is a lanky small forward who is known for his smooth stroke from the mid-range to the 3-point arc. Word is that Camara is one of the best freshmen this year, but he needs to fill out his thin frame in order to bang with Division I forwards. Because of his long arms, he has the potential to be a disruptive defender. NBA Comparison: Tayshaun Prince

Stat: 6’5′

The freshman stands at 6 feet 5 inches, tall for a guard in the America East, allowing him to play anywhere from the 1 to the 3. Having this kind of versatility will allow Broadus to use him in a variety of ways from starter to bench player.

Brandon Herbert:

Herbert is a classic point guard who can score and pass as well as anyone. He may have trouble seeing the court with Mike Gordon playing in front of him, but Herbert’s experience playing in a tough Baltimore high school league will help him transition to Division I. Herbert played with Georgetown’s Dajuan Summers in high school. NBA Comparison: Jarret Jack

Stat: 1

Herbert, who averaged 18.5 points and five assists per game as a senior at McDonough High School was named to the Baltimore County First Team by the Baltimore Sun.

Chretien Lukusa:

A strong defender and team leader, Lukusa, the final Al Walker recruit, captained the Canadian Junior National Squad this past summer. Though he shot just three-of-22 at the FIBA Under-19 tournament in Serbia, Lukusa is an excellent passer and hustles on every play. He can play several guard positions, but may need to refine his scoring game to be a more complete player. NBA Comparison: Fred Jones

Stat: 8

Lukusa was the eighth ranked player in Canada according to Hoop Life. As a senior in high school, he averaged 16 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.2 assists for Eastern Commerce.

Devon McBride:

McBride is a pure scorer who can hit a three and also dunk in traffic. Having played for several top high school programs, he averaged over 21 points a game at every stop. McBride is strong, athletic and physically ready for college ball. NBA Comparison: Corey Maggette

Stat: 23.9

The freshman may be one of the most game-ready newcomers on the team, and his 23.9 points per game in his senior season do a good job of illustrating that. He didn’t score in his one minute of action Monday night, but given the opportunity he could impress.

Chad Henry:

A walk-on who hails from the D.C. area, Henry is a quick, small player who can hit 3-pointers with consistency. With a roster’s worth of guards in front of him, Henry will see limited minutes this year. NBA Comparison: Daniel Gibson

Stat: 42

In his senior year of high school, the current Bearcat freshman hit 42 3-pointers, shooting 39 percent from downtown. The captain and offensive player of the year at Our Lady of Good Counsel averaged 9.8 points per game.
