LOCK:

DALLAS (-7) over Green Bay: I hate to admit it, but Dallas is the team to beat in the NFC. While Brett Favre seems to have things rolling, the Cowboys have everyone healthy and are in Dallas where Favre is 0-8. The difference maker will be TO, of course, and the fact that the Packers are last in the NFL in rushing. (4:02 p.m.) This pick was chosen well before the game.

New England (-21) over BALTIMORE: Escaping last week over the Eagles, the Patriots will come out with a vengeance at Baltimore this weekend. With a lack of offense, the Ravens will have to rely on their defense, but New England has too many weapons and Ed Reed can only do so much.

Cleveland (-1) over ARIZONA: With back-to-back wins, Cleveland is making moves in the AFC North at 7-4, and even though they are on the road, they should beat an Arizona team that lost to the 49ers last week. The Browns are rolling with Derek Anderson and their passing game, but their defense is last in the NFL, which worries me a bit.

CHICAGO (+2) over Giants: The Giants blew it last week and Chicago had an amazing come-from-behind victory. This could be a case of two teams headed in opposite directions and I don’t see the Giants winning on the road. But I have to hope this pick will jinx the Bears and equal a Giants win. Although I just jinxed my jinx with mentioning it, so now I don’t know what’s going to happen. Hopefully with no Peyton watching Eli can throw it to the right team.
